Over the past 25 years solar electric systems have been powering thousands of telecommunications sites all over the world. Roadside telephones to radio relay stations, have benefited from using solar to provide reliable, cost effective power when conventional energy sources are unavailable or difficult to operate.

Our system design aims to provide years of reliable, low maintenance and environmentally friendly operation.

A standard Solapak solar system comprises:

	Solar modules to generate electricity;
	Array support structure to support the solar modules;
	Batteries to store the energy to ensure continuous power to the load;
	Charge controllers to optimise the use of available energy, minimise maintenance and maximise component lifetime;
	Cabling and hardware to the point of delivery (charge controller load terminals).

In addition Solapak Systems offer:

	Wide range of system capacities and voltage;
	Options for monitoring and metering system performance;
	Choice of array structures to ensure easy installation for even the most difficult site;
	Selection of battery types and size to suit local conditions;
	Standard GRP or thermally insulated battery boxes and equipment shelters;

	Potential for use of solar in conjunction with other energy sources to prolong life and reduce operational costs;
	Consultancy services to provide the client with independent engineering design, contract management, inspection, training and on-site commissioning.
