Sealed, maintenance free, metal cased, battery cells can
be supplied housed inside white GRP battery enclosures designed to
occupy minimum floor space. They incorporate acid resistant materials as well as
the option of integrated lifting straps.
Enclosures can be supplied to allow horizontal stacking of battery cells and
include gas strut supported lids with sun shades. All enclosures offer
removable lids, stainless steel fixings, locking facilities and are
certified to include battery temperature sensing devices to optimise battery
life. |

Compact Assemblies
Where cells are horizontally stacked,
capacities of up to 24V, 2800Ah (at the
C100 rate) can be accommodated per enclosure with less than 1mē
of floor space required. GRP battery enclosure are certified to EX n II
T6 in compliance with the European ATEX directive. |

Certification of Customer Preferred Batteries
Solapak
focuses on offering solutions to customer requirements and this extends to the
certification of customer selected batteries. Solapak battery enclosures
carry a proven history of suitability for hazardous area environments and can be used to obtain certification for a given
battery cell type chosen by the customer. If the battery is suitable
for the hazardous area selected, Solapak are able to offer a complete
battery solution. |
